July Fruits and Vegetables

The fruits and vegetables availability for each month is a good way to prepare yourself in the how to shop and plan for your meals.  It is also a good way to start your own garden as well, and learn how  to be healthier.  I love growing my own fruits and vegetables because it's not only healthier for you and your family but it also educates you and your family about the essentials in life.  You get to learn about the minerals in the soil and different kinds of soils to use as well as how to make compost.  Here are some of the beautiful fruits and vegetables that are available to you at your local farmers market.  Some may vary depending on your state and location.

Learn how you can support your local farmers market by visiting your city website and look for your link to the markets and locations.  If you have no information available you can contact your city office and you can ask for assistance with locating a market nearest you.  I live in Hampton Roads and my website is www.buylocalhamptonroads.org
